These are tanks, normally made of Copper, that have been insulated with a foamy material. Most Combi Boilers have these inside them, and they can be a value source of scrap material. Lead Wash Copper radiators are also found inside these boilers, and if provided together can sometimes be repaired to a functioning standard once more. These obviously make them valuable to somebody seeking to repair and sell on boilers.
